Case Study

Consulting

Petrochemical companies take the safety of their operations very seriously. An integral part of that mantra is the continuous safety auditing of all installations by teams of highly trained professionals. Many of these installations are often in remote and poorly connected locations, which means that relying upon a high speed network is not an option.

Consequently, gathering complex data from these audits is both time consuming and challenging to co-ordinate, even within a small team. BMN were engaged to identify a solution and to deliver software to make the audits more efficient, accurate and ultimately effective.

Solution

BMN developed a Microsoft .NET 2.0 C# Windows Forms based application that allows users to author, collate, share and publish safety audit findings in a disconnected environment and then collate to a SQL Server based application once connected back to a network.
